My name is Bobby and I'm seventeen, going on eighteen, in 12 days (thank god)
I've actually only been a dm fan for a little over a year now, but I've never had a band get to me so infectiously as they have. I find it depressing that no one in the current teen generation is aware of the kind of music the eighties was putting out. I'm a huge fan of DM, as well as a-Ha, Duran Duran, Dead or Alive, and a number of other old bands.

My name is Bryce, I'm 18 and live in Nottingham!
Depeche Mode have struck and pulled my heartstrings since I was very little. When I was about 3/4years SOFAD came out and the scratching of the record at the start was very difinitive to me. I used to say to my dad "play the record that sounds like it's being scratched"
I remember being dropped off at my mammas when my parents went to go and see Devotional at Crystal Palace!!! Grrrrrr!
My dad had a video of devotional and I used to copy the walking men from Walking in my shoes, and do it around the living room ha ha. I also remember from that video: Red walking men, bellybutton and candles (I'm talking about the backdrops here). I'm sure you know what I mean.
I used to throw my shirt like dave did at 101 Never let me down again.
So mode have been HUGE!!! influences in my life and I don't know what I'd do without them!

This mode forum has kept my passion alive and kicking and I can't thank you enough Indigo Very Happy
