i suppose dave will tour "hourglass" since he toured "paper monsters"
than again, we never know
when it happens, it will happen, and we can expect a ton of great things from the band especially now that dave is starting to input more of his own work
not that i don't love martin

Andy Fletcher revealed today that Depeche Mode are about to enter back to the studio next year, sometimes in February/March, to record the next Depeche Mode album, followed by a world wide tour at the begining of 2009, as Israel will be considered to open the tour as a small compromising act for the cancellation last year.
According to Fletcher, Martin already wrote 14 songs which Fletcher said they sound very good to him. Since Martin's demo are always "very electronic", the album sound can even change when they are in the studio.
Obviously there's no title yet for the album, and yet to know if Dave will take part in the songs writing.

what I'm trying to say is that Andy said same thing about going into studio in Feb 2007 in October 2006.

Yeah, after listening to the latest rumours, it seems that DM will be in the studio soon and that we'll get a new album this year !

The New Depeche Mode album is to be released 24/11-2008 ??? 
Maybe the date change, but there WILL BE a new Depeche album in 2008 |
