the only tour i saw live was the exciter tour. so i just know the older tours by bootlegs or videos, but my favourit is the devotional/exotic/summer tour. cool stage, great setlist and alan on drums.

5. World Violation Tour
6. Devotional Tour
7. Exotic-Summer Tour

9. Exciter Tour
and in order my favorites were:
1-World Violation Tour
2-Concert For The Masses
3-The Singles Tour
The worst was Exotic-Summer Tour, where Dave had lost is voice (he drank too much the day before) in Montreal...that was so sad... |

I'm only 15 years old, then I couldn't be on any concert yet. But I want go to new tour. But I like Devotional Tour for the atmosphere, that band created on this tour. The triumphal end with Everything Counts... Oh my god.
Yeah I like Concert For The Masses, but Devotional is for me better. Very good start of concert with first parts of Behind The Wheel. Very good.
World Violation Tour: very good versions of Enjoy The Silence, NLMDA, Everything Counts, Route 66. Very good tour, but atmosphere in Devotional is better. |

I have seen DM on 3 Tours so far...
1993 in Dortmund (Devotional Tour)
1998 in Frankfurt (Singles Tour)
2001 in Cologne (Exciter Tour)
In Dortmund I had bad places.
Frankfurt was OK, but the best concert was in Cologne.
So I have voted for Exciter Tour.
Maybe I can change my decison after the 2 concerts ibn Duesseldorf next year...

| The world violation tour was the hight of DM's live shows, it set the bar. The divotional tour was great but it also destroied the band. |
