the album has a very youthful feel to it.
I like it. some of dave's vocals are annoying

Check out Depeche Road. It's an interactive documentary following the SOTU tour being made by DM fans. Sign up to contribute at depecheroad . com

After listening to the album a few times I think I like it.
They made better albums in the past, but it' ok...
Wrong is the best song, but I also like most of the other songs.
The only thing I am missing is a good rerfrain like in many other of their older songs.
Anyway good job guys. See you at the concerts... _________________ All this running around, well it's getting me down,

It is definately the best DM album since Alan Wilder split. In my opinion the first since to sound like DM again.
One thing that I like somehow is, that they seem to quote some sounds of their early albums in some tracks.
My favorite song was Peace until they finaly released the album. Then I discovered Corrupt... |

Hmm, I´ve been struggling with this record for a long time.
I bought it the day it was published and have listened to it almost a 100 times.
Usually all the DM-albums have "opened up" in 5-10 listeningtimes and are still "opened" to me. Haven´t gotten bored to any of them but SOTU is not letting me to go past the first step. I like Wrong, I kinda like Peace but the rest is muzak to me...
But I will keep on trying |
