I have just recognized that we don't have a Tour Thread.
Now we have one.
Enjoy posting. _________________ All this running around, well it's getting me down,

Hello fellow fans!
I'm seeing DM play tomorrow (Friday) in Phoenix. I'm sure many of you have already seen the show. How did you like it?
I've seen the set list and I'm very pissed they're not playing "Stripped" or "Shake". It would be awesome to hear them surprise us with "Here Is The House" or "Leave In Silence".
EDIT: MOVED INTO THE TOURING THE ANGEL THREAD |

It was great bstaples.
They haven't reinvented the wheel this time around. It's very straight forward. They just play the songs as they are for the most part. The innovation in changing up the songs is very subtle. Yet, it is still cutting edge and different somehow. I'm sure they will save all the fresh stuff for the summer (knock on wood).
Considering the size of the angle venues (as well as the album's lyrical content), I also thought that 'here is the house' would've been great. Summer perhaps? _________________ to see. I'm not looking |

Cogratulations...
I have thought about getting a ticket for Bremen, but I finally decided to stay home. Too expensive for me... _________________ All this running around, well it's getting me down,

The Toronto show was off the hook. People of all ages and backgrounds showed up. There's not a bad seat in the venue, IMO, and the place sounded great.
The Raveonettes opened for their final show on the tour and were amazing. I really enjoy their songs, and can see the connection Martin might have with them. He ended up performing one (The Heavens) with them in tribute. it was quite a nice surprise!
Between was, I'm somewhat sure, a Dj set from Martin. Very techy, glitchy dubby stuff with a hearty kick pulsing throughout from the huge system. Very cool to hear in a big arena with everyone. There was a palpable excitement in the air.
Then the Mode came on in force, and played some stellar renditions of most of the new songs and a few classics. I'm interested to see what the set list for the European leg will look like. As a long time fan (seen them every time since Violator) this was one of my favourite tours. |

Saw them at MSG in NYC on Wednesday! Band was KICK A**!!!!!! Great set! The songs off the new album played well live! Crowd was also hyped. Brought a friend who was one of those "Yeah I love Depeche Mode...I have Violator". Said it was better than he ever imagined...in a very good way!!!! _________________ "like an angel in reverse...." |

| The show Wednesday was amazing, and my first DM show. Highlights were "Suffer Well", "I Feel You", and "Behing The Wheel". It was especially amazing to be in the center just above the floor during NLMDA for the wave. |

| Amidst the greatness of the shows, was anyone else put off by the ridiculously high merchandise prices? T-shirts starting at $35 are waaaaaaaaaay too rich for my blood. |

The Denver show was one of the best I have seen but I was a bit shocked at their choice of venue - I am used to DM playing to crowds of 10,000 to 70,000 people - The magnus arena only holds about 5500 people. The show was packed but it almost seemed too small for them. _________________ An angel lead me when I was blind... |
