It is a DVD, but I don't know what kind of??????

OK, here is the answer:

Out via the UK firm Chrome Dreams on October 17th is the Depeche Mode documentary DVD "Random Access Memory". Melanie Breen, Marketing Coordinator at Chrome Dreams, explains: "This film documents the band's life in music over the past three decades, from their rise in the late 1970s to the present day. With the aid of rare band footage, exclusive interviews, previously unpublished photographs - many from private collections - numerous contributors and a host of other features, this programme, the first of its kind on this legendary group, will delight their millions of dedicated fans." Hi I'm new about here!

Was searching for this DVD and this forum came up so I thought I may also give my shillings worth.

I think its released 17th of October in UK, but there's so little info on this. Nothing at all on amazon.co.uk.

My band supplied some music for it - I think they used 4 tracks on the documentary, but I haven't seen it. I've asked for a freebie though!

I really don't think it's worth spending a lot on. It has really cheesy music throughout (There is no real DM music on the DVD). There are some pretty good rare interview clips that I had not seen before though. They were mostly Fletch and many were audio only.

not the best DM DVD around, its all unofficial and to be honest its all about people who new the band members thru college or when they were starting out. And all to dodgy music too!!!
