i realy love "But not tonight"!!! it's not a classic Depeche Mode track an for the time to much poppy but i love that one.

Newborn is my ultimate favourite but as a whole, 'Violator' had the best group of B-sides. Wink

Having expanded my DM collection and given more of their songs a listen, I'm really liking 'Surrender'. It's a superb song that I'd elevate above b-side status. I'm beginning to enjoy 'Newborn' as well.

For me it's definitely Surrender. But I also like the jazz mix of Death's Door and My Joy

Sea of Sin and Happiest Girl - two excellent tracks, groovy and atmospheric. They wouldn't have fit in with the rest of the songs on Violator, but they work great as a B-side.

For me it has to be My Joy, closely followed by Happiest Girl and Sea Of Sin. All three should have been album tracks replacing the likes of Sweetest Perfection and One Caress for example.

My Joy is definetaly on the list of one of the better B-tracks I think. Great bass, synths and vocals.

Hi everybody.
My top 5 list:

Painkiller
Dangerous
Sea Of Sin
Newborn (always listen it as louder as you can)
Surrender

All the b-sides are great for me.... 'Flexible' is an exception (the worst DM track IMO). I read an interview wiht Alan that said 'Flexible', 'But not tonight' and 'Pleasure, little treasure' were the worst songs he ever made part of.

I would have to say "Fools" and "But Not Tonight" but there are really a lot of great DM B-sides - very hard to choose.

Fools
Sea of Sin

I have to say though that one of my favorite all time songs by DM is To Have and To Hold (Spanish Taster)!!!!! Cool
