I am not a "fan" of remix, but this one is really good :

Jup, the Linkin Park version is not bad.
But I prefer the older B-Sides more than the remixes Depeche Mode had on their last singles. _________________ Even the stars look brighter tonight

Well... to be honnest it is the only one I know... I don't really like remixes (in general, remixes, tributes etc..), but this one "rocks" !!!! And when I hear it the first time years ago, I liked it immediately, but I did not go further in the discovery of the band !! _________________ HigherLove

I'll keep my answer simple.
Best: all of the remixes spawned from SOFAD
Worst: It's Called A Heart (Slow Mix)

I'm not too fond of remixes, which is kind of junk because they seem to be in good supply on all those singles. There are some exceptions, though. Butch Vig's Zephyr remix of 'In Your Room' was rather neat. I bought the Paris concert DVD long before the SOFAD album, so I fell in love with that version and found the original a bit stale as a result. Goldfrapp's remix of 'Halo', combined with Mike Shinoda's rocking remix of 'ETS' led me to buy my first DM album, Violator.
As stupid as it may sound to hardcore fans, I wouldn't be here praising DM if I hadn't become a Linkin Park fan in the first place. _________________ An Increasingly Devoted DM Fan Since 2004. |

I don't think it's that bad. The original will always be superior, but this remix sort of helped me to like the song before I got the album. In fact, I think I was introduced to the song in the right order. Had I heard the original and then the remix, I might've been disappointed.
DJ Sasha's "spooky" remix of 'Precious' is really cool. I like how the music swirls and takes on a beautiful, ethereal quality. If anything suffers in this version, though, it's the vocals. The vocal track is sped up a little, and the choruses in particular seem more rushed than should be appropriate. Thankfully, the loveliness of this remix allows me to forgive its flaws. _________________ An Increasingly Devoted DM Fan Since 2004. |

I absolutely love is it Route 66 (Casualty Mix) thats fantastic oh and Never Let Me Down Again (Tsangarides Mix) or something I can't remeber it off the top of my head, Personal Jesus (Telephone Stomp Mix) and (Holier Than Thou Approach), A Question Of Time (New Town Remix) and Black Celebration (Black Tulip Mix)
If anybody has these mixes as mp3 please post them as I can only listen to them on vinyl
I find the newer mixes absolutely horrible, they sound nothing like the song nowadays its all dance beats etc, bring back the old style mixes like in the '80s
Cheers
